Mt. Toubkal Trek Morocco

After breakfast in Marrakesh, pick up & drive towards the high Atlas Mountains via Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya & Asni, enjoy the stunning view of the villages along the valet. Arrival to Imlil (65km from Marrakesh), meet the muleteer and then start the trek & climb Tizi Mzik pass (2684m), spectacular view over Imlil valley & Toubkal Summit, continue to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m high), down the Azzaden valley through juniper forest to get to Tizi Oussem village. Overnight at the Guest house in the village. 6hrs walking.

After breakfast, enjoy the sunshine on this colorful valley & its marvelous typical Berber villages, leave Tizi Oussem & continue your way through a vast deserted area, have a picnic lunch on the way before reaching the busy point of the Toubkal refuge where you will be accommodated at a twin shared tents (the walk takes almost 6 hours), dinner at the refuge.

Early breakfast ath the dawn you will have to eat good, before taking your way to Toubkal summit, have some snacks and the required water supplement for a 10 hours hike, your tourleader will guide you through the safest pathways to reach the peak that exists at 4167 meters high; the summit is also known as the second highest summit in the African continent after Kilemenjaro. After reaching the top you would be rewarded of a picturesque view to the surrounding mountains and also Marrakech, then you will take your way back down, dinner at the base camp.

Today you are departing after having your breakfast to the authentic village of Aremd, you would be passing by the shrine of Chamharouche where you can have your picnic lunch before you reach your final destination, dinner at Aremd.

Leaving the calm Berbere village behind today you are making your way down to Imlil village with your tourleader where you are meeting your private transportation to be transferred back to the red city Marrakech.
