You will be taking an early breakfast before heading deeper into the mainland, passing by the capital Rabat on the way to Meknes which was also known as the Moroccan Versaille, The drive takes almost 3 hours you can have a stop on the way before reaching this samll city, upon your arrival you can join a city visit to discover few highlights such as Madrassa Bou-Innania, the mausoleum of the Sultan Moulay Ismail and Bab Mansour the old city's main historical gate.

Right after the breakfast You will travel for 1 hour drive to what is known as the scientific capital of Morocco Fes, on the way you can have an optional visit to the ancient Roman outpost of Volubilis learn about the history and architecture; the stunning bathhouses, marble pillars decorating the main lane, Then you head to the oldest capital in Morocco "FES" that is also known by it's 9000 labyrinth alleys this city was founded 1200 years back in time by the first Sultan "IDRIS I" representing a Mosaic of the Amazigh and Arab ethnicities residing the city.

Today you can join a city visit to FES EL BALI or the Medival Fes where the oldest University in the world "El Karaouine" takes a place, Medrassa Bounania or some Quranic schools, in addition to many other interesting sites like Ennejarine Museum and Fundok that was one of the oldest hostels in the city for the caravan traders back to the Dark Ages.
Evening time might be a great time to relax at your accommodation.

Leaving Fes Behind today a long journey awaits you as you will be departing earlier to Marrakech, on the way the forested heights of the middle Atlas; you might have a chance to take pictures with some Barbary Apes you will also be passing by IFRANE the French city founded at the French colonial era last century, still a lot to explore such as the cedar forests on the Atlas mmountains where you can enjoy an exotic scenery throughout your way, the drive takes almost 7 hours therefore you will have few breaks on the way.
Reaching your final destination the Red city Marrakech has lots to offer, the city itself was founded by the almouravid dynasty at 1062 AC and became an important link for trade connection from Africa to Europe and the middle east.
Evening time you can have a fancy optional dinner by Jamaa Lafna Square by the snake charmers and acrobatic shows.

"Marrakech" translation of the Berber word THE LAND OF GOD that was once upon a time a capital of the famous dynasties "Saadiens and Almouravids" That explains why the city is historically and culturally rich; it will be a great chance to join a morning optional city visit to discover some of highlights like the Bahia Palace and the external side of the master piece Koutoubia mosque and discover the old walled Medina and its busiest Bazaars where you can buy some souvenirs for your beloved ones back home.

Unfortunately your Journey has come to an end; you can still extend your stay at your hotel or book a departure transfer to Marrakech airport.
